The chancel's
East Window, seen here, a memorial to Rector Brookes, was devised
by Rector Brown to incorporate some of the Steeple Aston Church's
history. The 17th century altar table came from Sandford St Martin
when a new one was installed there. The memorials on the chancel walls
are all to former rectors, of whom the earlier ones are buried beneath
the chancel floor.
